I met Peter Marit of Stoneshore Group in 1996 when I had purchased a vacant lot in North Oakville for development. I worked with Peter for a year in the design and construction of our home, and came to appreciate his attention to detail, thoroughness and responsiveness. Peter’s ideas were creative and his construction of the structure was remarkably solid and enduring. We are about to embark on another residential construction project in 2014, this time in South Oakville, and Stoneshore is my builder of choice, for reliability, dependability and innovative construction, combining the latest technologies with design integrity.

I have been partnering with Peter Marit on projects for 20 years in the trade of Audio, Video and Integration.  I have always found Peter to be excellent to work with.  He is incredibly approachable, organized and detail conscious and he truly cares about his clients, trades and the experience that the home owner goes through every step of the building process.  Peter has a unique way of making tasks in the construction process very simple, which is a rare quality in the industry.  An example of this is that as soon as Peter receives cabinetry layout specifications, he immediately tapes all of the cabinet layouts onto the floor to simplify understanding for the home owner and the other trades.  Processes like this may seem small, however, they make other tasks such as placing lights, HVAC and ceiling details infinitely easier.  Also, Peter spends all of the time that is needed to support the key decisions throughout the project and is happy to share his thoughts and experience to ensure that great decisions are always made.  We are honoured to be part of Stoneshore's business I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to build a custom home or renovation to give Peter a call.
